Almond ‘Parm’

Ok so this isn’t exactly parmesan cheese at all, but it does remind me of those dried parmesan cheese crumbles we used to get in a tub from Costco when I was a kid. Even if you don’t think it tastes like parmesan, it is exquisite in its own right and should be used on top of everything! I am absolutely obsessed with using this to top my pastas, pizzas, lasagnas, you name it! It’s so simple, comes together in minutes, and is a healthy and cruelty free alternative to adding parmesan cheese to your dishes.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup raw almonds
  • 3/4 cup (40g) nutritional yeast
  • 1 tsp garlic pwder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Method:

  1. Pulse the raw almonds in a food processer until they become a fine crumble, but not a flour
  2. Add in the nutritional yeast, garlic powder, and salt and pulse a few more times
  3. Add it to EVERYTHING
  4. Store in a sealed container in the fridge
